This Privacy Policy describes how Ringagram ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

Ringagram does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or text that you enter into the tool. All processing happens entirely in your web browser. The letters you type into Ringagram never leave your device.

1.2 Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit our site and which pages are most popular. This analytics service is privacy-friendly and:

• Does not use cookies
• Does not track individual users
• Does not collect personally identifiable information
• Is GDPR compliant
• Only collects aggregated, anonymous metrics such as page views, referring websites, browsers, and device types

1.3 Cookies

Ringagram does not set any cookies. Our analytics provider (Cloudflare) also does not use cookies. However, third-party services embedded on our site (such as Buy Me a Coffee) may set their own cookies. See the "Third-Party Services" section below.

1.4 Local Storage

Ringagram uses your browser's localStorage to enhance your experience. The following data is stored locally on your device only:

• Theme Preference: We save your light/dark theme choice so it persists across visits
• Install Prompt Settings: We remember if you've dismissed the PWA install banner and how many times it has been shown (maximum 2 times)

This data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings (clearing site data or localStorage). None of this data is personally identifiable.

2. How We Use Information

Since we do not collect any personal information or usage data, we do not use, process, or share any information about you or your use of the Service.

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 Cloudflare Web Analytics

As mentioned above, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics for basic, privacy-respecting website traffic analysis. Cloudflare may collect:

• Page views and visit counts (aggregated, not individual)
• Browser type and version (anonymized)
• Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
• Country of origin (based on IP address, but IP is not stored)
• Referring websites

3.2 Buy Me a Coffee

Our website includes a "Buy Me a Coffee" button, which is a third-party donation platform. When you interact with this button or make a donation, Buy Me a Coffee may collect information according to their privacy policy, including:

• Payment information (processed by their payment processors)
• Email address (if you choose to provide one)
• Name or username (if you choose to provide one)
• Cookies and tracking data

4. Data Storage and Security

Since Ringagram operates entirely in your browser and does not collect or transmit data, there is no data storage on our servers. Your text inputs are stored only in your browser's memory while you're using the tool and are never saved or transmitted.

When you close or refresh the page, any data in memory is cleared.

4.1 Service Worker and Caching

Ringagram uses a service worker to enable offline functionality and faster loading times. When you first visit the site, your browser may cache static files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images) locally on your device. This allows the app to work without an internet connection after the initial visit.

Cached files are stored by your browser and can be cleared through your browser settings. No personal data or text you enter is cached—only the app's static files.

4.2 Progressive Web App (PWA)

Ringagram can be installed as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on your device. When installed, the app stores files locally for offline use and may appear in your device's app list. You can uninstall the app at any time through your device's app management settings, which will remove all cached files.

5. Your Privacy Rights

Because we do not collect or store any personal information, there is no data for you to access, modify, or delete. You have complete control over any text you enter into Ringagram, as it exists only in your browser.

5.1 Do Not Track

Since we do not track users, "Do Not Track" browser settings do not apply. We respect your privacy by default.

5.2 Third-Party Rights

If you have made a donation through Buy Me a Coffee or interacted with other third-party services, you may have rights under their privacy policies. Please contact those services directly regarding any privacy concerns.

6. Children's Privacy

Ringagram is a general audience service. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since our Service operates entirely in the browser without data collection, it can be safely used by all ages.

7. International Users

Ringagram can be accessed from anywhere in the world. Since all processing happens in your browser and we do not collect data, there are no international data transfers to worry about.

If you make a donation through Buy Me a Coffee, your information may be processed according to their international data handling practices.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

If we make material changes to how we handle user information (for example, if we start collecting data), we will provide prominent notice on the website.

If you are a California resident, you have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). However, since Ringagram does not collect, sell, or share any personal information, these rights do not apply in practice.
